Do you want to make a difference and help save lives in Wales? If the answer is yes then come and volunteer for us.

What you can do to help us?

We need you and are looking for volunteers to help us:

  • Paramedics, doctors, nurses and medical professionals to deliver CPR and defibrillator training in schools and sports clubs – click here for more information.
  • Organise your own events
  • Attend planned events to help with bucket collections or stewarding
  • Help out in our busy fundraising office
  • We need people with experience in the following areas: finance, administration, marketing, PR, events management or IT.

And no matter whether you only have a couple of hours to spare or you have more time to help out we appreciate any support. Not only is volunteering for Welsh Hearts a great way of making a difference to lives in Wales but it’s also an opportunity to gain more skills, experience and meet new people.

You can start your volunteering role with Welsh Hearts today by downloading, printing and completing the Volunteer Application Form below. Most roles will not require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (previously a CRB check) but you’ll also find the application form for DBS-checked roles below too.

Welsh Hearts Calonnau Cymru is a unique heart charity working hard every day to help save lives in Wales. Cardiovascular disease accounts for a third of all deaths in Wales, that’s far too many people. Over 800 of people die of heart disease each month in Wales.

We are unique in that we raise and distribute our funds and services in Wales. This ensures that local people throughout our nation get the help, care and support as quickly and effectively as possible – at the heart of Welsh communities.

We’re looking for enthusiastic people who are interested in helping others, learning new skills, improving job prospects and making new friends. Volunteer with Welsh Hearts today and help us save lives in Wales.
